A significant portion of my career is dedicated to set-up, repair, and maintenance of guitars and other fretted instruments including bass, mandolin, ukulele, and others. Everything from neck resets and crack repairs, to re-frets, nuts, saddles, bridges, tailpieces, custom inlay, and more. Your instrument leaves my shop playing to the best of its potential. Every instrument is handled with care and attention.

I offer guitar building and repair courses on a one to one basis. This is for the experienced and inexperienced alike. The intent is not for you to leave as a master, but to provide you with a replicable process, and the skills required to continue improving on your own. Starting from scratch with raw materials you can learn to build a flattop or archtop guitar. This course takes about 140 total hours to complete, on a mutually agreed upon schedule. The repair course is 1-3 days depending on the desired focus, and the time it takes to grasp the concepts and skills being taught.
